The Franwell Tote Portal

The Franwell Tote Portal was designed specifically to handle the individual pharmaceutical containers of controlled substances placed within a tote. The Tote Portal enables pedigree verification when it is integrated with the rfid> Trace system.

The simple equipment housing through which the tagged items and totes are passed is approximately 22" x 22" x 16" (size can be customized).  The Tote Portal can sit on a store counter or it can be placed on a structure to elevate it to the desired height.  RFID readers and antennae along with requisite cables are securely contained within the durable plastic housing.  The setup is sensitive enough to read accurately the RFID tags, yet rugged enough to withstand repetitious use from various points in the supply chain.
